WHO ARE WE?

THE SMILE initiative

The SMILE initiative, part of the International SEPT Competence Center at Leipzig University, is a program to support entrepreneurship, startups and spin-off companies at regional, national and international level.

We assist founders and startups in different sectors, including biotechnology, healthcare, technology, creative industries, communication, sustainability, and social impact. Since 2006, we've guided over 600 startups to founding their business in Saxony.
